If a skirt and polo combo is more your style, then why not try the Adidas Edge skirt and polo top. This all white outfit looks fresh and stylish and comes at a very affordable price.

Nike also do some great classic white clothing that will look great on the court this summer. Nike’s White Athlete Skirt is aimed at club and competitive players to ensure a dry-fit and also to enhance performance whilst still looking elegant in white.

For tops to go with the Nike Athlete skirt we suggest looking at either the Nike Maria Tank with floral pattern or the plain white Nike Maria Demo Support Tank, both of which also features the dri-fit technology.

Just as the Family Circle Cup epitomizes women’s tennis, LACOSTE represents the essence of sportswear, and the two have come together to showcase the excitement and grandeur of professional tennis competition. LACOSTE, one of the world’s most well renowned brands with over 1,000 boutiques worldwide including a location at 248 King Street in historic downtown Charleston, returns for the fourth consecutive year as the official apparel sponsor of the Family Circle Cup. To continue the partnership in style, LACOSTE and the Family Circle Cup presented the clothier’s latest fashions for men, women and children at the fourth annual LACOSTE Fashion Show in the Rivera Theater on Monday, April 13th.

Since 2006, the LACOSTE Fashion Show has recruited local models to walk the runway on King Street in the newest LACOSTE spring fashions. Keeping in this tradition, men and women ages 18-23, and children ages 6-8, were invited to attend an open casting call for models at the Charleston Place Hotel to audition for the show.  The models chosen at these casting calls appeared multple times throughout the fast-paced fashion show, wearing several outfits each after very quick outfit changes. Check out the photos for any familiar faces...here

As the official apparel sponsor of the 2009 Family Circle Cup, LACOSTE has generously outfitted Cup staff, as well as nearly 500 volunteers in the latest LACOSTE clothing. Although LACOSTE apparel is not sold on the grounds of the Premier Event, fans who would like to acquire LACOSTE items can do so at Charleston’s only LACOSTE boutique located at 248 King Street in historical downtown Charleston.

    bethanie

    March 16th, 2009

WTA player Bethanie Mattek-Sands has launched her first official website. You might know Bethanie for her  runnings with the Fashion Police on the court. If the name doesn’t ring a bell you might remember her as the player who generated international headlines for the funky eccentric ensemble she wore on Centre Court vs. Venus Williams back in 2006. The U.S  Fed Cup Player has joined  a host of many other professional tennis players who have launched their own personal website and have seen the benefits of it.

The site pretty cool and attractive. It’s pretty easy to navigate and there’s enough useful information and content: press releases, Bethanie’s blog, biography, pictures, etc. You go girl!

Go to www.bmattek.com to see the site for yourself. Lets hear what you guys think!
